During the New Year celebrations in Rio das Ostras he starts to date Vera Hime. Through Vera, he meets Francis Hime, her brother, with whom years later he wrote scores of songs.
Enrolls in the School of Languages/Literature at PUC.
Becomes producer and author of most of the lyrics for Água & Vinho, by Egberto Gismonti, and produced his (Egberto’s) next three albums. With Gismonti, he writes songs for the play Encontro no Bar by Bráulio Pedroso.
