Translates scenes from William Shakespeare’s Anthony and Cleopatra at the request of Maria Padilha for a cycle of readings to be staged in the slums of Rio. Writes episodes for the program Carga Pesada for TV Globo. Takes part in the Project Arca das Letras, for the Agrarian Development Ministry, coordinated by his sister Maria Elizabeth Carneiro and by Cleide Soares, designed to set up libraries in rural communities. Starts collaborating with Centro Cultural Cartola, where he coordinates the poetry workshop entitled Escola das Rosas que Falam. Celebrates 30 years of published poetry, at the invitation of the Teatro do Jockey, surrounded by musical partners, friends, poets, singers and his lifetime heroes.
